Previous ITunes Library

Question

Previous ITunes Library

I purchased some songs and then somehow my Ipod was wiped clean and I now have a folder that says Previous Itunes Library. The songs I purchased no longer appear on my Ipod Library or anywhere. How can I Import or get them back? The file is on my hard drive. Is there a way to get Itunes to open it?

Please help.

In iTunes, go to File > Add File to Library (or Add Folder to Library).

Before trying Rick's method (which will get you your music back, but no playlists or ratings), you should try to use the previous library file. Here are Apple's Instructions:

If that doesn't work, Rick's tip is a good substitute.
