What's the best Telecine solution?

We're trying to get our finishing done on a 35mm feature. The first Telecine was only done in SD. Edited in Standard Def on FCP. Now with a locked picture, we need to get to an HD Master. The plan is to go back to Telecine direct-to-drives in ProRes HD 422 HQ. Here's the problem. We cannot find the Flex files from the original SD Telecine. Also additional scenes have been shot in HDCAM that need to be digitized for online.

After talking to a Telecine operator he said to just manually type up the shots used, with the keycode in points, timecode in and Camera Roll. Needless to say with 600 or so cuts it's taking forever. Should I use Cinema Tools Database to type in the Keycode and Camera Roll data that Telecine needs? Or, try an EDL from FCP. What export can they use? Typing up a Word Doc can't be the best way can it?
