Keyboard not working properly

Hi,

I have a problem with my keyboard, some keys are not working properly.
for example:myspacekeyisnotworking, the shift key

and the following keys: q1w2e3r4t5y6u7i8o9p0 `~!@#$%^&*o()-_.[{}}'"

every time I type I get this: i8ne3e3dhe3lp0r4i8ght5no9w2

I have tried:restart/unplug/shutdown/created new acct but proble3m still.

PowerMac G4, Mac OS X (10.4.6), PowerPC Mac G4/CPU Speed 800 MHz/256 KB/Memory 1GB

There is not much you can do to the keyboard. Has anything been spilled on it?

You could try plugging it into a different USB port.

The quickest way to determine if it's a keyboard problem or some other problem is to connect another Mac keyboard. Do you know someone you could borrow a keyboard from? Actually, you could plug in a PC keyboard.
