Can I get a refund of my itunes card?

I just bought my ipod touch because I heard there were gonna make apps for it, and since I can't update to 2.0.1 I'm going to return it to the store today. But I don't want to loose $15, because I just bought the itunes card to update and I don't want to get music or videos from the itunes store because it's ridiculous expensive, so can i get a refund of my itunes card?

Yes. Make sure you log in to your iTunes account before you purchase it.

After it is donwloaded and installed, look in C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates\
This directory may be hidden so you need to set Windows to view hidden files folders).
Look for a file named something like iPod1,12.0_5A347Restore.ipsw
In teh file name, the *iPod 1,1* is the touch and 2.0 is the firmware version.

If you cannot find the directory, you can use Windows search and search for ipsw.
This is the actual file used by iTunes to update your touch.
Burn this file to a CD so you can put it on your computer if you need to restore.

how long will it take to download the 2.0.1 update, My friend has wireless internet

It's like a 250MB download so it depends on how fast their connection is.
