Audio sync drift - 44.1 to 48khz

I have an audio track that was accidentally recorded at 44.1khz. I converted the audio to 48khz for import using Quicktime, but the sync drifts noticeably from the video after about 3 minutes. How do I correct this?

Make sure the sequence audio setting is 48K, not 32K.

If the audio was not recorded with video or with a TC based audio recorder, the likelyhood of drifting is quite high.

Options -

• You can cut and shift the audio in segments as the drift becomes noticeable.
• You can use STP to RETIME the segment to something that stays in sync.

I'm sure there are others ...

Good luck.
