I am also getting the headaches, and not just from my iPhone. It actually started with my previous phone, a Sony Ericcson, and now I am even getting headaches from my cordless land line. I even get headaches and nausea just from holding the iPhone. And no it's not motion sickness, I have tried it with the screen off and not looking at the screen and it still happens. I love this phone and would really appreciate any advice.

I used to know a guy who would start freaking out if anyone uses a cell phone anywhere near him. He would scream and apparently be in pain. So maybe it is dangerous for YOUR health? I mean if a cell phone gives you headaches, you should probably go see a doctor.
The amount of power of cell phone antennas is strictly regulated worldwide to make sure there is no possibility of any health problems associated to using a cell phone.

i do remember hearing about some people that have this issue, its extremely rare, most "modern medicine" doctors wont do anything for you but you might get some relief from going to an applied kinesiologist (kind of like a chiropractor but a lot of the weird eastern medicine). but if you can find one they may be able to figure out why your are sensitive to it and help you with it (fair warning its weird but it works)

If you are using your iPhone (or any phone for that matter) during long periods of time (>5") several times per day, a bluetooth adaptor would work in your favor. They are cheap and will prevent your headaches. For the cost of a GP/MD visit, you will pay for your bluetooth.

Part of the problem is the amount of pressure applied to the auricle (outer ear) and tilt of the head during extended cell phone usage. An example, take your iPhone, while it's turned off, and place next to your ear for about 20-30". Notice anything??? Pain, continue, and it will become increasingly uncomfortable (causing the headache). Older landline telephones would essentially give anyone a headache if you kept the phone on one ear, after about 15-20 minutes of talking, tilting the head, trying to multitask, although they were not nearly as warm.

A good bluetooth is my Rx for you. Good luck and keep us up2date.

Using my husbands appleid to post. I have had headached when my husband uses his 36 phone in the same room, usually when it is close, pointed in a particular way, or waved near my head. It's distressing, I feel like it can't really be related to the phone, and yet it is easily repeated, and trying to fake me out with the old phone didn't work. I wish I knew, also, why my husband's 3g phone causes me discomfort.
