iTunes 6 screen messed up
I recently installed iTunes 6, having used iTunes 4 for some time now without too many problems. I immediately noticed that the screen updating doesn't really work at all.
When I minimize the window to background and do something else, and later restore it, sometimes the text is all messed up. It looks like it prints two or three layers of text on each row, making everything unreadable. I have to minimize/maximize the window a few times to be able to see what is going on.
Another problem is browsing albums. When I click on the different songs, sometimes it suddenly displays a rating for the song it didn't have a second earlier, and a while later it shows a different one. I was rating a few CDs I just imported, one being Queen's A Night at The Opera. I listened to the songs, rated half of them, and suddenly noticed Bohemian Rhapsody having 5 stars even though I hadn't touched it. I clicked it, clicked another song, and the rating was empty. I went through 2 other songs, and suddenly BR had rating of 3 stars. Again I clicked on it, and it emptied.
What guarantee do I have that the ratings I have saved so far actually stay? I've done lots of work to import my CD collection to iTunes, and if all that work is lost, I will get rid of every single piece of Apple software and hardware I've ever had and curse the whole company to the depths of lower ****.
