I have a Question about buying Macbook PRO's with the RentSmart thing NextByte have going...
Do you think its safe buying from Rent Smart?
Would you Rent a Mac?

have no personal experience of them, but if this is typical then i'd run away unless you can get the tax write off...

they give you no extra warranty or insurance cover, so you've got to add that on top (otherwise you could be stuck with years of rental payments on a dead/stolen mac)

you could always ask for a quote, but unless it is remarkably cheap, or you can do as they say and claim most/all rental costs against tax, then i can't see it being a good deal
