Why won't Logic let me bounce the Metronome?

I've tried everything I can think of.
I need an audio file of the Metronome - why is that so difficult?

Nah - this particular song has loads and loads of meter changes with different needs for subdivisions.
The Metronome handles it all perfect - but it'd be cumbersome to go through the whole thing and program a click. Of course it can be done - but why can't Logic just bounce its Metronome.
It used to do that just fine in previous versions - why remove a useful feature?

Hi.

Just tried it again - doesn't work here Realtime or Offline.
I have the Klopfgeist assigned to Output 3+4 which are my main outputs, but just to be sure I tried again with it assigned to to each of the 26 possible stereo pairs in my setup. It's a no go.

I managed to do it by assigning the output of the Klopfgeist to a Bus and inputting that to my Master and then bounce. Unfortunately it doesn't line op then because of the delay in the bus.
I manually moved it in place - but what a complicated procedure for just getting a click.

Oh - I was shocked to see the delay in the Bus, that's pretty bad.

Kim I know this must be frustrating, but it does work, and that's been confirmed not only by myself but others in the other Logic forum who were asking why they couldn't hear the click in their bounce. They all chose "REALTIME BOUNCE" and it worked. So something is different in your setup, I'm not sure what it is. My main outs are 1-2, I bounce to WAV, 16 bit, other than that I can't think of anything odd that I do. I actually did it by soloing a track with nothing on it, turning on the click, and doing a realtime bounce. The resulting file was a click. I'm using the MPC click, for what it's worth. Logic 8.02, System 10.5.4 (but it's been working like this for several systems now). The click is assigned to 1-2. Make sure of course, that you have "Click while playing" chosen. If I think of anything else I'll chime back in....
