iTunes Connect localization problem

I am a Japanese developer and I set the primary language Japanese when I created an account at iTunes Connect. Then I uploaded my app and materials in both Japanese and English.

A few days after my app was released, I opened App Store in several countries and I was surprised to learn all materials used in UK, Germany, and other countries were in Japanese! My app had received worst rate in these countries as the reviewer didn't like the materials written in the language they didn't read.

Later, I learned I need to upload something for all localizations listed in iTunes Connect. But as I don't understand other languages except Japanese and English, I uploaded the same English materials 8 times for each localization.

But this is ridiculous. Japanese language is used ONLY in Japan. It doesn't make any sense using it for the other 8 localizations. What I am afraid is if other localizations are added to iTunes Connect, Japanese language will be used again for them and unless I am aware of the new additions, my app will receive worst rate for this ridiculous reason.

I strongly suggest all developers whose primary language is not English to check if localization is done correctly. And I would like Apple to be sure that not all developers' primary language is English.

Thanks for the note Chataka. We have been looking at what languages other than English we should be developing for. I'll be sure to use your 'hard' learning when we make the jump to internationalization.

If you can't get it sorted out, I recommend you hunt down the iphone dev. support phone number and see if you can get guidance directly from Apple.
