Deleted my DNS numbers.. How do I restore?

In *Network Preferences* you can have several locations. 🙂 I have one I labeled *Open DNS* and one I labeled Verizon and several for Earthlink.

Use these until you get the ones issued by your ISP (or instead of those):

4.2.2.1
4.2.2.2

FYI, these addresses are the "Verizon" DNS, a free public DNS server generally regarded as being of excellent quality/speed/reliability.

apologies for my ignorance and notice I'm one of the very few non-mac users, but I love my iphone...

however, I don't know where to locate a DNS number even if I tried. Do I find it on the phone or the existing computer, perhaps in my network connections?

Hope someone can possibly help and once I learn this, it would be nice to know how to set up verizon or earthlink's DNS #'s
