I'm running the new iTunes 5 on Windows XP and I've set the preference for the Mini Player to stay on top of other windows. Whenever I switch to the mini player and then open another window, the mini player will not display on top. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Has no one else had this problem?!?
Same thing here. Running iTunes 6 on windows xp pro with the appropriate preference settings selected and it won't stay on top. Plus the iTunes toolbar won't work either. Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue and it's driving me crazy. I'm using the latest version of i-tunes and before i had the "keep mini player on top" box checked, it would reduce down to the tool bar when i clicked on anything else, well i checked the box when i found it in preferences and all that changed is it doesnt go to the tool bar anymore but it doesnt stay on top of other pages either so i cant watch it while i'm doing anything else. PLEASE HELP
Has Apple come up with an answer to keeping the mini viewer on top of other windows? Did they even look at this post???

Ok guys. When you put the mini player on top it should stay. Since its not for you guys you might be clicking on something that is effecting this.
When you need to open another window minimize the mini player.
When you need to open another window minimize the mini player.
this is still a problem. the mini player control stays on top (small part with all your play, stop, rew, ff etc options)
but the actual view window that shows the movie playing will not. i wrote apple and they blamed it on aol so i tried it with internet explorer. STILL REDUCES TO THE TOOL BAR once u click on anything. i dont have this problem with windows media player. i have the option clicked for it to stay on top of other windows and it does, no may matter what. this is an itunes issue whether they want to acknowledge it or not. older versions of itunes acknowledged this issue and there was a plug in available to download that fixed the problem but that doesnt seem to be the case at the present time. anybody finds out about on please let me know
