Safari and the Secured Western Union Web Site.

I have using Safari 3.1.2 (525.21) and the Secured Western Union website, in order to use their money in minutes service, I have to open it with IExplorer. I reset safari, uncheck the block pop-up windows, but Safari doesn't work with it. How can I add WesterUnion to the safe website list in Safari? maybe this is the reason, that the following Wester Union Screen, after the log in, are blocked by Safari.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

There is no safe web site list for Safari. If you want to try spoofing IE in Safari you need to activate the Develop menu in the program (Preferences > Advanced) then go to the Develop > User Agent menu item and choose IE6 or IE7 and enter the web site URL to see if it works. Be sure to check if Safari goes back to the Default in that menu after loading the page. In that case, just change the User Agent again to IE6 or 7 and reload the page.

I am having the same difficulties...what did you end up doing in the long run? I use western union money in minutes on line and can't do it with safari. I called Western Union and they said their website is not compatible with safari or mozilla/firefox and really can only depend on internet explorer. What IE should I download and will it screw up my mac if I were to only use it for westernunion? Thanks, tanyapallo@yahoo.com

There is no Internet Explorer available for Mac (or Linux for that matter). I hate when sites 'require' IE, it's just lazy programming since there are other sites that do the same thing, but don't require it.

So, you have 3 options
1. Use a different computer that has Windows
2. Get Windows and put it on via:
a. Boot Camp http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/bootcamp.html
b. Parallels http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/
3. Use IE4OSX http://odetoapple.com/2007/run-multiple-versions-of-internet-explorer-on-mac-os- x-without-the-need-for-windows/(I've used IE4Lin, but haven't tested the western union site)
