I am having issues with my 160g Classic, i have recently had the whole spinning beach ball issue but it seem that the new update fixed this problem. Now i have a whole new problem, everytime i plug in my ipod vista shoots up a window that ask if i want to scan the ipod for problems with file. i started to allow it to scan my ipod but it doesnt help at all. i have to format my ipod before it will show up in itunes, once it finally restores my itunes can only out 7g of music out of my 10g library, and once it stops sycning i get a bunch of different error messages like error 69 and 53. once i check the ipod for the 7g thats supposed to be on my ipod nothing is there the memory is taken up but no music, after doing research i think it has something to do with the fwid i dunno. if someone could help me out i would really appreciate it, before i try to send it back, my problem is that i am stationed in sicily and im kinda of paranoid about sending my ipod back to the states (heard horror stories from friends).
