unable to send email

I have not been able to send email from my bellsouth address since the 2.0 download. I have checked every option I know. I recieve mail fine. Any advice?

I have been having the same problem with my bellsouth account, however, my emails go through after 5-10 minutes of trying. My primary SMTP server is set to cwmx.com, but I am not certain thats correct.

Check with Bellsouth ( is it AT&T now?) and make sure your settings are correct.

Over here in the UK I use the O2 SMTP servers for outgoing mail and that seems to do the trick.
Try using AT&T's and see if you have any luck, the server is: cwmx.com
Use no authentication for outgoing mail either if you choose to use this method, also note I do not guarantee it will work when connected to WI-FI but your more than welcome to try. Being outside the States its hard to give a definitive answer but from what I can make out, this should work.
