delb.opt.fimserve

sometimes when viewing myspace using safari, I look at the web history and find out that there is a very odd link that begins with http://delb.opt.fimserve.com/(and some random characters)

Is there something wrong?

The same thing happens to me and it makes me furious. If I am on a page and I try to go back to the previous page, it doesn't work. It refreshes to the page I was just on (and not the one I was trying to go to). Even if I push the back button like 10 times, the same thing happens. Then if I go click on the back button to look at the history, it has like 2 or 3 delb.opt.filmserve address. Myspace hasn't been any help figuring it out.

No worries. I had this too and you simply shut off that server's access to Safari with Lil Snitch (most Apple people have this, I think...except maybe Apple noobs...get it Apple noobs).

Create 4 rules in Lil Snitch to Deny the app Safari access to the Hostnames:
delb.opt.fimserve.com
demr.opt.fimserve.com
desk.opt.fimserve.com

and the IP address:
216.178.33.0/24
(0/24 wildcards the last 3 numbers so its 216.178.33.0 - 216.178.33.255)

Not only will Myspace fly through page loading, but mine never picks up those ad pages as something to "Back" my browser into. If I hold the back button now, my list is clean. It only includes the pages I actually went to.
