iPhone 3G 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter

I have a headset designed to work with hearing aids, and it uses a 2.5mm plug. Can anyone recommend a good 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter for the iPhone 3G? I've seen the Blackberry adapter, but wanted to see if there were any other good alternatives. I was hoping the Griffin adapter would work, but it looks like both male and female ends are 3.5mm.

Thanks!

What you need is a 2.5mm Female To 3.5mm Male adapter. Here are a couple of options (Amazon links):

2.5mm Stereo Jack To 3.5mm Stereo Plug Adapter without cable

2.5mm Stereo Jack To 3.5mm Stereo Plug Adapter with cable

You can find similar products at a Radio Shack store, as well. (The Griffin adapter you were looking at was most likely for the original iPhone, which has a recessed headphone jack and requires an adapter to work with many non-Apple headsets. The iPhone 3G does not have a recessed jack.)

Hope this helps...
