Unregister equipment and software

If I sell or donate my registered Apple products, is there a way to unregister the equipment and licenses so that new owner can register? What is the process for unregistration? Nothing came up in Apple Support search for unregister.

Thanks, Kappy - I understand and agree with the "no need", but with the HD wiped and a new system install, the first startup leads to the setup process which requires a new user to fill the registration screens. If the equipment serial number or license ID is somehow a component of that, then the new user's info would conflict with my old registration info. Would that then cause a refusal in the setup and/or a hassle for the new registrant? I don't know. Just trying to make a great Mac experience in case the new user is not savvy.

Anyway, I will enclose a printout of your suggestion for a call to AppleCare. I will also include a printout describing the process for resetting the first startup to blank setup and registration screens.

Thanks for any further info.
