I connected my ipod classic to my computer and it says it needed to install drivers for it. But when it did, it didnt download all of them and now, it wont even pop up when i connect my ipod. When its connected neither the computer, itunes or my ipod recognize that they are connected. Its not a problem with the usb cord because it worked fine with my home pc. the usb ports are all on as well.I also tried putting it into disk use and that also did work as well, Itunes didnt recognize it and it just said "ok to disconnect" even when plugged into my computer. Is there a way to find and install drivers manually? If anyone could help it would be great. If theres no way to find drivers is there any other way that I could fix this problem.

thanks i just restarted my computer and it works fine. if your computer asks to install driver software what worked for me was to say ask me later. for some reason the computer recognized it and syncs with my itunes perfectly
Hey Patrick,
I tried the instructions in the link you have provided but I am still having some problems. The instructions mentions that I will either be seeing IPod or Mass USB storage in the computer management window, instead I am seeing Unknown Device. I tried to enable it, but it still does not work. Any other suggestions?
