Completely Loose Hinges

My poor old MacBook Pro no longer has any tightness/tension in its lid so it neither pops up when you push the button, nor stays in place below about 45 degrees from vertical (it just slams shut).

The machine being over two years old, it's obviously not covered by warranty. Will Apple be able to tighten the hinges/replace them if I go to a Genius Bar and show it to them? If it'll cost, any estimates of price would be handy. My nearest store would be the Southampton one in West Quay (UK).

Thanks

MacBook Pro 15", Mac OS X (10.5.4), 2.16GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 100GB 5200rpm HD, Matte LCD
