Help sending Logic 8 file??

So someone wants me to do a save as of a Logic 8 session and email it to them. I tried but everytime I go to attach the Logic 8 file to my email (using hotmail) the Logic 8 file is greyed out. I looked in the sharing preferences and am not seeing anything that looks associated to this issue. The file is under 3 megs and the Hotmail largest file size is ten megs so that isnt the issue.
