ringtones dont show up

ringtones dont show up

created ringtone using itunes, shows up in itunes, synchs to iphone and shows up in itunes as being on the iphone but I dont see it ANYWHERE on the iphone.

where do I look?

what is wrong?

If you have created and purchased the itunes ringtone properly, it will show up after sync here:

Settings>Sounds>Ringtone

You should be able to scroll through the stock ringtones and find the ones you made.

Do you live in Canada?
Apple has confirmed that they haven't yet been licensed for the available ring tones in the itunes store. They didn't have an anticipated date but if you call them they will refund the money you spent puchasing them to your itunes account.

If you are in the US there's a process to follow to load them up. It's all in the online user manual.

ok, second try is a charm - this time it worked.

selected song with bell, clicked on bell, moved segment around to where I wanted, clicked 'BUY', selection showed up in Ringtones under iTunes. Then sync'ed iphone - now ringtone shows up in settings/sounds/ringtones - right up top above the default/standard tones.
