Appleworks-vs-Leopard

Is Appleworks compatible with Leopard? I'm still on Tiger and use Appleworks
Drawing for various graphics which I've saved. Pages will open Appleworks
word documents, but evidently not drawing documents. If I update to Leopard
I'd like to be able to save and open the Appleworks files. Thanks for any input.

Another appleworks leopard question - my copy of appleworks won't install on leopard - i bought a MacBook Pro to replace a coputer I no longer use (it died) but it did have OS9 on it- is there any way I can install Appleworks from the retail disk? Idon't see an installer for OS10, the OS9is greyed out - I still have OS9 on an old G3 iMac is there anyway to boot from that computer via ethernet or wireless? It is annoying to have paid for the app and not be able to use it anymore.

Thanks
