Stopwatch - lap feature

Watching Olympic track and field recently confirmed for me that the lap feature in the stopwatch application is wrong.

When you touch the Lap button on a running stopwatch the cumulative time should not reset to zero. The cumulative time should be just that - cumulative - so when you complete your, let's say 4 laps around the track, you hit stop and know your total time. The individual lap times are displayed in the list (very nice), but you shouldn't have to add those up in your head to figure out your total time.

I was hoping with the 2.0 upgrade that this would be fixed, or that you could get into some settings for the stopwatch and change this strange default behavior.

Am I missing something?
Or where is the iTouch/iPhone standard applications feedback/feature request page?
