Hi

Is it possible to adjust the MacBook display's contrast?

MacBook, iPod nano 2GB, iPod Touch 32 GB, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

No. There is no contrast control. You can calibrate the display, however, from the Displays preferences. Open Displays preferences and click on the Color tab. Select your current profile - usually Color LCD - and click on the Calibrate button. Follow the instructions for calibrating the display.

Well, you've found a valuable piece of information. Yes, that does appear to alter the contrast. I've never come across that. I tried it on my 2nd gen MBP and it does work, but I haven't tried a reboot afterwards to see if it holds. It also appears that it only increases the contrast. I could not get it to decrease the contrast.
