"DNS Lookup Error"

"DNS Lookup Error"

Here's my website: http://eastglacierpark.info

Whenever I try to visit it for the "first" time, I get this message: "DNS Lookup Error." If I rehit the address, or quit my browser and retry, then I get to my website. This happens on Safari and Firefox, on Mac and non-Mac computers. I've tried re-uploading my complete website (I publish to a folder on my desktop, then use Transmit to upload.) This is a Chamber of Commerce website and it's an annoying problem.

This does NOT happen on other websites that I make in iWeb and publish the same exact way.

Can anyone help?

The browser has a problem connecting the the webserver.

It's not an iWeb issue since a webserver nor a browser cares about the program the webpages are made with.

What can I do about that? And why does it happen with different browsers? And why doesn't it happen with the same browsers/same server but different website?

Change DNS servers. You do that in the Network settings of you computer.

I use OpenDNS:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

I called GoDaddy, my hosting service, and the techie said he could not replicate this 'error' on any of his numerous computers. He decided it was something peculiar within my house and my network, probably not worth messing with if everyone else in the world can view the website on the first shot.

So at least it's less of a problem than I thought, and I can live with it, though it's not really 'solved.'
