When I watch a DVD on my mac I am frustrated by the fact that I can't fast-forward or reverse the movie. I don't see any controls for that. It's just play, pause, stop, step frame, scan. Is that the way it is, or is my hardware (PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-111D DVD drive) the limiting factor? -- Matt
Click and hold the "next chapter" button to fast-forward.
Rewind by clicking and holding the "previous chapter" button.
The scan rate can be changed in one of the pull-down menus.
Also, if you're at the computer or have a wireless keyboard, hold down the apple key (command) and and press an arrow key for FF and RW. Pressing again should step up the speed, depending on the capabilities of the 11D. Mine (104D) can FF up to . . . I think it's 32 times?
If you have the apple remote, it's press and hold.
