the plugs are in correctly . The TV is a JVC AV-36D502 model
The s-video input is in the back, there are 2, one is being used for the cable hook up box....and the audio video jacks in the back are input to the dvd player hooked to the set. There is a second s-video labeled input-2 ( of which I tried already to click to the input 2 on the screen, and still only got a blue blank screen. ) the other jacks on the back say composite video ( video/y then PB and PA they are green, blue and red female rca jacks....)
the front inputs are made for quick input for video cameras and it is a standard female video ( yellow ) and left right audio ( white and red ) jacks. I have tried that one also with the correct plug hook ups, and tried the 3 different options for inputs on the screen and still only get a blue blank screen...although with this second method there was a bit of "noise" on the blue screen that seemed to me that some kind of signal was coming thru, but just not correctly. Thanks for any help you can give me....have tried everything I know....even went to the manual of the JVC....to no avail.
I know the front one works because I just plugged my camera into it and it comes up beautifully on the tv screen. So leads me to think it is on the mac end that I am not doing something right?
Thanks
( oh the adapter I am using is the Dynex mini dvi to video adapter for Apple notebooks)
