iPhone and Home Networking

Is it possible to create a home Network(LAN) with iPhone using Wifi?
I mean is it possible to access other computers on the Network with iPhone using WiFi?

Yes, it is. As the iPhone does not support any protocols used normally for connections in SOHO-networks (e.g. SMB, AFP), you will need a http server ("webserver") on the machine you want to access for transfering files or enabling RDP on the host machine. There are RDP-clients for the iPhone in the App Store available.
