how to retrieve recently deleted text messages

Okay I accidentally deleted an impt txt message and I understood all that Allan said about retrieving it. My question is, I synced my phone b'4 this happened but i wasn't online when I synced. Can I still get my txt message when I do the restore?

I just did that 5 minutes ago today and I'm kicking myself because it was an important number.

Honestly, I don't think there's any way we can undo this!

Hey, guys. You might be in luck. I had the same problem – accidentally deleted a bunch of text messages I was saving. Here is what I did:

1) Before connecting your iPhone to your computer, go to iTunes > Preferences > Devices, check the box that says "Disable automatic syncing for iPods and iPhones," and click OK
2) Connect your iPhone
3) When the iPhone appears in the menu on the left under Devices, right-click on it and select "Restore from Backup" on the drop-down menu.

The phone will restore from the last backup and then restart your iPhone. For me, this restored the text messages I was worried I had lost. I hope it works for you!

But, the text had to be current to your phone the last time you synced. Any text message since then will be lost.
