A workaround I use with Outlook 2003 notes to get them on my iPhone is to create a series of contacts with the name AAAxxx, where xxx is the name of each note you want to add. Then copy the content of each note into the note section of the corresponding contact and it will sync along with your contacts and put all of your "notes" together at the top of your contact list. Or you could use ZZZxxx and put them at the bottom. Kinda kludgy but it works and my notes are now on my iPhone. I assume this would work with Outlook 2007 notes as well.
I have looked hi and low for a work around and haven't found one. It seems I have to manually and painstakingly type in all the information over. It seems silly they have found a way to sync tasks via a 3rd party app but not notes. Also: appigo's new notebook program doesn't say it will sync with outlook only Todo via Toodledo.
Can you further elaborate on the how to name the notes in Outlook? I went to my Notes display screen in Outlook 2003 and it appears Notes takes the first line in the Note to display what appears to be the name of the note. E.g. first line reads "Note ABC" so I opened the note and adding text so it now reads as follows on the first line "ZZZ001 Note ABC"
then I tried syncing my "Contacts" again and checked the listing of contacts under Z...and the notes did not synch.
