AIM Mobile Forwarding Not Working

I cannot seem to register my phone number ###-###-#### . I've tried to register it on mobile.aol.com but I never get the confirmation code.

I can see the phone number on my buddy list after I sent a text to 265019 with the word "In"

However, when I try to send an IM to +1########## I get "Auto-reply: This phone number cannot be reached."

I have a support ticket open with AT&T too but I have not heard back from them yet.

Please help. Any ideas?
