Quicktime support for Windows Vista 64 bit OS

Are there plans to support the Windows Vista 64 bit operationg system?

Asus, Windows Vista, 64 bit version of Vista Ultimate

What's odd is that I just went to install Quicktime and it told me to get a 64-bit version. I came looking for one but haven't been able to locate it yet. Is there one?

Yes, I also got the instruction from the installer to "use the 64-bit installer", but there doesn't seem to be one. APPLE - ARE YOU LISTENING HERE? Strange that your installer gives seemingly impossible instruction.
