Download flash movies?

You can use the Safari Activity window to find the media and a double click should download it.
Then you'll need some software that can play the .flv files.

A lot of the videos on there are now Quick Time, so this script can download them to the desktop.

I put it in the bookmarks bar and I click on it when a video I like is onscreen. It adds another "Download as MP4" tag on the information next to the clip.

I hasten to add it is not my original but I cannot identify my source right now.

I also want to add that seeing it on the forum page it looks somewhat weird, but that is how I copied it from my bookmarks. I will try and track down my source.

It took a few minutes, but I now have my original source which was Google and may be a bit clearer.

I don't think you can as the videos are Flash only (YouTube has many that are available in Flash and QT). There is also the problem of copyright. As I read that site, these videos are provided for a specific purpose and not like the YouTube system at all.

The same pretty much applies. That script, which I had copied from the source I provided, was a specific for the YouTube videos that are also available in QT format (it puts another link on the page and that goes to the QT movie).

Other sites will have their own methods and policies and if Flash is the format, then that is not so easy to download on a Mac. That said, a quick Google search (using +download flash video on a Mac+) brings up a number of utilities that might fit the bill, such as http://www.freemacware.com/flash-video-downloader.
