I tried purchasing a movie on my apple tv for the first time and was faced with the message "HDCP isn't supported by your HDMI connection............". I'm connected to the TV thru a HDMI/DVI cable bought through the apple store and my TV says its DVI/HDCP compliant. Anybody know what the problem is or better still how to fix it?
Thanks for the suggestion Chenks. I was tring to avoid this as all my component inputs are already spoken for. UPDATE: Found the answer on anothr forum. It was simple as disconnecting the apple TV from the AC for 30 secs and voila!! I thought Microsoft products were only meant to be this buggie!!

I've seen this message once on my ATV.
The problem I'm having is the following.
When I switch from one HDM to another on my Samsung LCD TV and then go back to HDMI 2 which my ATV is plugged into, the picture keeps flashing and the TV keeps loosing signal. Now when I restart the ATV it goes into recovery mode, then I have to hit restart and all is fine. It started doing this today only and hasn't stopped.
