Unable to connect to Netgear Wireless Router

Hi all! I'm having a problem connecting to a netgear Wireless G/N dual-band router. It is encrypted with WPA security and I have no problem connecting any of my windows machines. The Power Mac G4 has been updated with an airport card and I can connect to unsecured networks without a problem. When I try to connect to my WPA network I always get a "failed to connect" message. Any suggestions?

Which G4, Which Airport card?

What does System Profiler report for the card, like...

AirPort Card Information:

Wireless Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x88)
Wireless Card Locale: USA
Wireless Card Firmware Version: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (4.170.46.11)

The model is the M7681LL/A (a 733 mhz Power Mac G4 (2.0))

Here's the info from the ystem profiler on the wireless card:
Wireless Card Type: AirPort
Wireless Card Locale: USA
Wireless Card Firmware Version: 9.52

It is operating on channel 6.

The model for the router is the Netgear WNDR3300.

Any other information you need?

Not sure this works with WPA, (and some Airport cards don't support WPA), but try a dollar sign in front of the Password, like...

Is it seeing the Network, just not joining it?
