AirTunes drops with AirPort Express on wireless network

Hi,
I have recently added an AirPort Express to my wireless network. I have a Siemens Gigaset SE551 wireless router.
When I use AE as a standalone network, streaming to the hi fi system works great. When I add AE to my existing wireless network streaming is patchy and music drops out regularly.
Are there any setup tips for the wireless network to consider?
The network is 54Mbps. AE is also a 54Mbps model.

Yes I am having the same problem. I have an Airport Express in a network with an Airport Extreme, all 100% Apple equipment. Can anyone shed some light on this..?

I solved my AirTunes from dropping out by option clicking the wireless "n" options on my wireless hub (Time Capsule) and changing it to "g-only". I also allowed for robustness (somewhere in Airport Utility) but I think its the "g-only" trick that fixed it.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. I've set my network to be 54Mbps across all computers and devices. It did work for the first time after I set it, but now the streaming breaks off regularly.
