Applications Won't Sync To My iPhone. Could Use Some Help Please!!!

man i dont even know. i have been having the same exact problem except i can select which apps i want to sync to my iphone. i have the same iphone 3g also. currently i am on the phone with the apple tech person trying to resolve this problem. ill update this as soon as i can figure out a way to get this to work.

Is your iPhone version 7.7.1? Is your computer Authorized? Even if it was, sometimes computers can become un-authorized. You can check by playing an iTunes purchased track. If it is not Authorized this will authorize it.

What a shocker! I've got the same problem...very disappointing. Hope someone sorts it out soon!

I have the same problem. My iTunes is the correct version, my iPhone is 2.0, my iTunes account is Authorized.

Me, three! I can't figure it out and my computer is definitely authorised... Just trying tobring this thread up again...

This is a wild guess, but perhaps the phone did not reactivate with the iTunes store. On the iPhone tap the App Store icon. It should ask you to log in. If it doesn't try installing a free app on the phone. Then try to sync again.

Does anyone have a fix for this yet? I had to reimage my box recently and installing the iTunes 8.0 build, it properly syncs my music and photos to iTunes, but it will NOT sync any of the umpteen applications I have on my iPhone. I have the 8GB original iPhone with the 2.1 firmware. Had no issues at all until now. iPhone works fine with these apps.

Things I chased and verified they are correct:
1. is my PC authorized? yes
2. can I play an iTunes original song on my PC? yes
3. can I connect to the iTunes store with my credentials? yes
4. can I buy an app from the app store and does it show up in the APplications library? yes
5. on the device, if I check the "Sync applications" checkbox in the Applications tab, it warns me that all apps on the iPhone will be dropped and replaced with those in iTunes. Of course, I don't want to do that, so I keep it unchecked. But, still the apps from the iPhone won't come over when synced. When syncing, though, it does present a dialog early on that says that it found purchased items on the iPhone and that I should transfer them over or they will be lost. I opt to transfer (again, whatever it is it's found) but still they I don't get the apps.

So, how do we get the apps from the iPhone over to iTunes? 🙂

Mine was doing the same, then i just went to settings: restrictions: then changed "installing apps" from "off" to "on" now it works 🙂
