It'd be great if you could provide some more specifics on "troubleshooting it" so we know what steps you've already take to alleviate the situation.
I would recommend working through the steps in this document:
Essentially, create a new user account on your PC, log into that account, and open iTunes to see if you can recreate the issue. If the issue does not appear in the new user, return to the original user account and complete the steps under "user-specific troubleshooting" in that document. If the issue is present in your new account, complete the steps under "system-wide troubleshooting" in that document.
Sometime when that happens it's a result of iTunes creating and failing to delete temporary files it creates while building your iTunes library file. Typically, recreating the library will take care of it. However, I believe that's a step suggested in that document. Let's check anyway.
Open the folder:
Do you see one or more "temp file.tmp" listed? If so, delete, them, and then try to recreate the library again. Let us know if that changes anything.

If you don't need Bonjour and it is causing the problem, you can uninstall it and iTunes will still work except for the features requiring Bonjour.
If that doesn’t work some people have found that uninstalling Apple Mobile Device support works. iTunes works OK without it, but it is required for the iPhone or Touch.
