Mux AC3 stream into an MPEG2 file with compressor

Hello hello,
in our cinema, we use as trailer format MPEG2 files, 12-18MBit/s, AC3@-3dB sound muxed into them.
Is is possible to perform this in one step with compressor or do I have to create the AC3 stream, the MPEG2 TS-stream and then mux them into one file. If yes, with which kind of software shall I do that?

best wishes
Thorben

You can't mux an AC3 with MPEG video in Compressor but if you have named the video and audio file the exact same name (apart from the file extension). You can drag the video file into MPEG Streamclip which will automatically open it with the same named AC3 file. Then you can choose "Convert to TS" from the "File" menu and select the same named sub option "Convert to TS..." this will give you a multiplexed transport stream file containing both MPEG2 and AC3 streams. However this file will not open in QuickTime Player...
Just search google for "MPEG Streamclip", it's a freeware program.
