Number of clips in a sequence

Hi,
May I ask this.
Is there a way to show the total number of clips in a sequence.

no, i don't think there is ... but you could figure it out:

create a new bin
select all the clips in your sequence and drag and drop them on the new bin
count them !

does FCE have an XML export? if so then you could just select the bin and choose Export XML ... that will display a window saying (amongst other things) how many clips are contained in the bin (don't need to actually export of course, just cancel that)

where there's a will there's a way ... try this

after you've dragged all the clips from the timeline into the new bin
open the bin and select all the clips contained
now click and drag on one of those selected clips
as your pointer moves the selected clip will be ghosted underneath it together with a number in a box underneath eg +1000 ... the total number of clips is that number plus 1 (the ghosted clip).
