So how do I "sync" my iphoto and Aperture library?

So I opened my iphoto library in Aperture to fix some redeye issues. Now when I open aperture I see my redeye-free photo, but in iphoto it has the old photo. How do I "save" my changes so that my iphoto library will show my aperture editing?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.

You don't.

Aperture is not an external editor. Like iPhoto pics have to be imported into it before they can be worked with. iPhoto cannot read the Aperture database (they are two very, very different things). To get your pics back to iPhoto you must either

1. Export from Aperture and import to iPhoto
or
2. In iPhoto: File -> Show Aperture Library and drag the pics from the resulting media browser. But beware, this process only gets the Previews from Aperture.
