Looping just stops -- Bug?

We're experiencing a problem when looping a range of the Timeline (green selection) in Cycle Mode (a song loop, not a sample loop). When it gets to the end of the selection, sometimes playback simply stops and it doesn't loop at all. Other times it loops a few times and then playback stops. There are no error messages, it just stops.

Is this a known bug? Can anyone help us troubleshoot this?

delete or move to the desktop logic preference that are located in you user/library/preferences folder

Before remove preferences you must quit Logic

When we turn it off, it doesn't loop at all.
One thing to keep in mind is that as we've been sitting here responding, it has been looping away with no problem. The issue arises seemingly at random. The Song is for an art installation which runs 24 hours a day, and we play the sound back straight from Logic (there's really no other way to do it with our setup). At seemingly random points, it just stops looping.

seems to be that the project file is corrupted

try to save as including asset in you internal drive...
Avoid to use Firewire external disk!

if the project comes from version 7 ... it should be corrupted

start a New Logic 8 Empty Song and copy the files...
also copy the channel strips settings!

Good Luck
