Converting VRO movie files

Have tried the MPEG Streamclip.app. Still having difficulty.
But could be that I need to buy and use Quicktime Pro in addition.
Will let ya'll know when I get this solved.

Any additional input is welcome.
And if anyone has photography questions I'd be happy to reciprocate.

Can Quick Time Pro convert the files? Or should some other software be used? "MPEG2 Works 4" maybe? I have recorded these movies using a Hitachi DZBX35A DVD Camcorder. Of course, this particular model does not allow USB plug into computer and uses VRO format for the files finalized onto Mini DVD."

Have found a work around if anyone is interested…
1 Finalize MiniDVD in camera.
2 use tray style DVD drive to run MiniDVD on my MacPro.
3 Copy .VRO file to desktop.
4 Run Roxio Toast 8. Choose Video options and DVD-Video
5 Place .VRO file in DVD-Video: My DVD area.
6 Select video and Export as .dv file back to desktop.
7 Now the .dv file can be opened and edited in iMovie.
8 save out to whatever desired format.
9 Rejoice!
