How do I hook up a 2nd monitor?

Hello, I am hoping to hook up my old Sony Trinitron monitor for video editing and have never hooked up 2 monitors to a Mac. Any tips? It looks like there is only one port on the back of the MacPro that matches the monitor's cable.

I realize this is a very basic question but figured this is a good place to ask it.

Thanks,

Chris

All Mac Pros have a video card with two DVI ports. If the Sony uses VGA, use the DVI to VGA adapter that came with the Mac Pro. If the Sony needs RGB, you can buy VGA to RGB adapter cables. If the Sony needs S-VHS or composite video, and the Mac Pro has a graphics card by ATI,you can use a DVI to video adapter

(The adapter will only work on one of the ATI ports. If it isn;t working, try the other port.)
