Elektrik Piano 1.5

I have installed the latest version on Elekrtik Piano 1.5. It passes validation, but will not load samples. Anyone else having this problem?

All working good here. Can you see the list of electric pianos? Mk1 MkII etc? Have you installed the updates from the service centre? Sorry, pretty obvious things to check but you have to ask! You may need to set the path to your library again.

Installed the updates, can see all the pianos, but they won't load. I have the samples on another hard drive, would that make a difference?

Hi,

Strange. when you say they don't load, what happens when you click on a piano type? Other than nothing of course! Go to options on the interface, at the very bottom of the screen that comes up you will see the 'path to library'. Make sure that is pointing to the place you installed the .nki parts in. When you have done that, remove the plugin and select it again. Let me know how you get on. Also, check that your puter is actually seeing your external drive. Again, it may sound obvious but these things have to be checked!

Sorry, I presumed it was an external drive. It may well not be of course but check the lecky piano library folder you installed the .nki parts in (should be 3 from memory?). Make sure they are all there. Cheers.

Yep! I did all that. In fact I even re-installed the library and updated it. When I click on a piano it loads VERY fast and then reverts right back to EMPTY in the heading. I have checked the path etc. This is KILLING me! I can't for the life of me figure out why this won't work!

Hi RCP,

If you have Kontakt 2 or 3, then try loading one of the EP's instruments in it, see if it works. If it does, the player's probably broke. Try trashing KontaktPlayer prefs as well.

Hi, that is bizzare! Try running it standalone and see if it works like that. It will be in your applications folder. You could also try running au manager and validating it again. It's a long shot but give it a whirl. Cheers.

Today, I did hit exactly the same problems as you, but after a while realised that this was AFTER trashing my com.native-instruments.Content.plist file when trying to solve another problem. In fact the trashing created problems with all of my NI sample based instruments. Restoring my old com.native-instruments.Content.plist fixed the problem.

Not sure if that helps at all but it looks like the NI instruments are very sensitive to locations & preferences.
