MBA 80gb HDD and future SSD

I really like my MBA and although I was aware of the max 80gb HDD capacity when I purchased it, I chose it over the 64gb 1.8" SSD. I see future commercial 1.8" SSD's are likely to be in excess of 160gb/256gb capacity. Does anyone now if these be backwards compatible with current MBA's (HDD/SSD versions) or would I have to replace the complete package when if and when it becomes available?

Macbook Air, Mac OS X (10.5.4), 2G 16gb and 8gb iphone, 16Gb ipod touch, ipod nano 8Gb, ipod 80/160Gb
