I really like my MBA and although I was aware of the max 80gb HDD capacity when I purchased it, I chose it over the 64gb 1.8" SSD. I see future commercial 1.8" SSD's are likely to be in excess of 160gb/256gb capacity. Does anyone now if these be backwards compatible with current MBA's (HDD/SSD versions) or would I have to replace the complete package when if and when it becomes available?
Macbook Air,
Mac OS X (10.5.4),
2G 16gb and 8gb iphone, 16Gb ipod touch, ipod nano 8Gb, ipod 80/160Gb
I believe they will be but who knows with Apple! I am going to hold out till the updated MBA comes out to purchase, lets hope it's sooner rather than later

I researched about the interface, and it should be doable when more drives come on the market. It is just the price right now, but I'm in once it is 128Gb for $500.
