I read somewhere on here about isquint being 5 times faster than quicktime at converting files intio a format that ipod can use but it keeps crashing on me. Also another supposedly handbrake with h264 is supposed to rip the dvd then put directly into a format that ipod can use, however i have not been able to do this, i convert it once from dvd to mp4 and then i have to use quicktime to convert it to m4v, otherwise itunes gives me an error that it is in the wrong format and this is costing me a lot of time, there has to be any easier way,

Worked fine for me. Converted muxed MPEP1 and even converted a DivX AVI. (Don't know, however, if this is a built in capability or if it is accessing my QT DivX AVI component.) No preview capability. Limited user options. Output limited to MPEG4/AAC file format. Preset aspect ratios: 4:3 and 16:9. (2.35:1 widescreen files must be post processed to correct aspect ratio.)
