Sound works fine in OSX, everything else works fine in windows except there is no sound output. Nothing comes out of the main speaker and nothing comes out when I plug in head phones. The Sound Device manager tells me that the speaker is working and the audio level indicators respond with pulsation when audio is played letting me know that the system at least understands it should be playing a sound. How do I fix it?
I have the same problem. I run Vista X64 on a MacBook and i can't get no sound. Windows says everything is fine. The sound indicator is showing that it should be sound.
The only way i have got it to work is when i use a USB device .. i have a pair of headphones that i can plugin via USB and they work ..
Anyone have any idea about this? Been googling it for an hour now but can't find anything good .
I have the same problem. This is on the new MBP 15" with XP sp3 and bootcamp 2.1.1.116.
All the volume levels in the windows volume control and the realtek utility are turned up but I get nothing from the speakers.
Has anyone found the cure for this?? It appears that all sound is routed to the headphone jack, but I have seen no solution through Googling. Most replies just state to uninstall and reinstall the drivers, which did NOT work for me.
