Fake apple email?

Hey,

Today I got email from Apple(News@insideapple.apple.com) that i'm little worried about. The title is "Welcome to the Apple Online Store". Inside the Image it says. Thank you for creating an account. The apple online store is the place to fine apple products and best accessories. It looks much like when registered my ipod. The most I did for apple store was to add an Imac to cart to see the different hardware opinion I'd have and tried to processed to see the final price w/tax but it needed my billing info so i just stoped there. So did me doing that make an account? or is there something strange going on.

Hi Dire Fox-

They do that.

If you gave them any contact information including an email they will tend to contact you. If you saved the order for later I believe the email comes automatically.

It is marketing my friend-they WANT you to buy that Mac.

Luck-
